Visas
Visas for delegates
Most delegates will need to apply online for an electronic visa via the official eVisa website for Indonesia.
You do not need an invitation letter for this visa – just your passport, a return ticket, a hotel confirmation and a payment of IDR 500,000 (about US$30).
ASEAN and East Timor citizens may enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days, non-extendable.
Speakers and exhibitors will need to apply for a specific visa to enter the country – further information below.
Follow the steps below to apply for your eVisa (delegates only)
If you are not eligible for the B1 Tourist visa (visa on arrival), please email info@gsdcongress.com to request a formal consular invitation letter.
We cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. If a delegate is unable to attend because of a failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for the registration fee will apply.
We recommend obtaining travel insurance for the duration of your visit. Please contact your travel agent for details.
Visas for speakers and exhibitors
All speakers and exhibitors of any nationality who participate in conferences in Indonesia must obtain a specific visa to enter the country. This includes speakers and exhibitors from ASEAN countries, unless you hold an APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) – business travellers with a valid ABTC do not need to apply for a visa to participate in the congress. The application process for speaker and exhibitor visas will be handled by our local operations team in Jakarta.
