    Indonesia Convention Exhibition, Jakarta, Indonesia

    About the zone

Brought to you in partnership with Hong Kong Baptist University, the One Health and Well-being Zone returns – now reimagined and enhanced for its second edition. This dedicated sanctuary offers congress participants a space to pause, recharge and restore their well-being amid the bustle of the congress programme.

Drawing on HKBU’s holistic approach, the zone seamlessly blends Eastern wisdom – such as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), tai chi and mindfulness practices – with cutting-edge modern science, including insights from neuroscience, sports science, digital health and AI-driven wellness innovations.

The collaboration fosters novel solutions and research in sustainable health and wellness, bringing together thought leaders and experts from around the world.

    Activities to take part in

    Walk and live well

Begin your congress day with a refreshing 2km guided walk that blends light movement and simple mindfulness techniques.

Suitable for all fitness levels, this activity boosts circulation, sharpens focus and energises both body and mind while offering a chance to connect with fellow delegates and enjoy the surroundings. Set a positive, grounded tone for the day ahead and take home a special commemorative gift to remember the experience.

    Tai chi

Experience serenity and strength through graceful, flowing movements that harmonise body, mind and spirit.

This gentle practice, often described as “moving meditation”, promotes balance, flexibility and calm focus – ideal for starting your day centred and resilient. Wear comfortable, loose clothing that allows for fluid movement.

    Baduanjin

Unlock vitality and tranquillity with eight powerful exercises that rejuvenate your body and calm your mind.

Participants are advised to wear suitable clothing to allow for fluid and comfortable movement.

    Massages

Discover the healing touch of traditional Chinese massage, using targeted techniques to ease tension, restore balance and nurture musculoskeletal health through TCM principles.

Enjoy deep relaxation and renewed vitality in this quick yet profound reset – perfect for maintaining energy during demanding congress days.

    Acupoint: Body hack challenge

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, applying pressure to specific acupoints is a natural method for easing symptoms of anxiety, depression and insomnia.

This interactive activity invites participants to explore these powerful points through a team‑based recall challenge, with a wellness prize for the winning group.

    Mindfulness karate

This accessible workshop fuses traditional karate techniques with mindfulness practices, including controlled movements, focused breathing and meditative elements.

No prior experience is needed for this activity, which is suitable for all fitness levels. Build physical coordination, sharpen mental focus, reduce stress and gain practical tools for emotional regulation and resilient leadership in your sustainability work.
